My July Scrap with V class kit- 2 pages- in the shop. This will be my last class kit made for this shop as Ness, the owner, sold the shop and I don't think I am  going to submit for the new DT there. It was a great fun to design  page kits with " you can only use what is in the kit" things and as those kits were so small it was really challenging. But after all I am not this kind of " don't add anything from your stash " scrapper and this is a main reason not to try this kind of kits anymore. I just thought to leave this DT anyway as this was my second term there, but finally, as we say here " The  best job is done from a Heaven" and the owner's  change was just in time to move.. And as I have another new  manufacturer's  DT  to begin- you
can see it here tomorrow- I am just glad it came this way
I want to thank Ness for the chance to be on this team almost for 2 terms and to be a part a of a very talented group and I wish the new owner a lot of  success and luck

My adorable girls with my adorable CLD DIES

Was be published in Scrapbooking News and Review  September 2011 issue
This page was a mix of Helmar glue challenge sketch with the most adorable Cheery Lynn Designs dies and then I just couldn't stop and added a lot of everything and still a lot of " white space" has left and as   a part of Best Creation DT we just got great Helmar's glues to use- so I used 3 of them here

And this is a list of my CLD used here
Large  Inverted Scalloped Circles Stackers set for the central cut and I also hand cut the green circle around this die as I don't have regular large circles
The I die cut lots of the smallest possible circles from Little  Stackers  Circles  set and glued them around the big green circle
The French Paistry Doily used as my photo matting
Three small butterflies from Small Exotic Butterflies  set were added
Two Tropical Flourishes  from our latest June release made a perfect frame for all hand cut and chipboard flowers on the bottom
And one small branch with a little bird was a last touch on the top of the page made with CLD Bird on a branch #2 die
I hope you like this page made with Pink Paislee papers, Epyphany Crafts epoxies and buttons and Tando Creative chipboards covered with some fine mixed glitter
And if you want to scraplift it- all you need are some fantastic CLD dies here in the shop

Life is a game altered chipboard frame

This square chipboard frame form Tando Creative was in my DT box for ages and I hadn't any clue what I am going to do with it. Then I thought about all this game pieces I collect, game stamps and game papers and here is a result. Life is a game- U play to win is the quote all over the frame. I used Glitz bingo  and crossword piece,Maya Road bingo markers, J. Bowlin bingo letters, also I added some Paper studio metal ones and MM  wood game letters too. Puzzel pieces were punched, real fame cards, dominos etc were added over the moulding  paste coverage and some stamping. I think it is some kind of statement said here and I hope you like it

I also entered this to Scrap with a song challenge- it was all about gambling and games song

My struggle to scrap in clean and simple style.. Cosmo Cricket sketch and products with Core'dintaions cardstock- CC line too. Mixed Media tag tutorial

Resist tag technique tutorial
The resist technique is not new at all- but is always fabulous, so just try it
My recycling  trend was used here twice:for the straw from an old placemat and the flower made from a
very old Hebrew book. The glitter added was to give this tag a less mute look
Supply list
Tag: Craft store
Grungeboard die cut: Advantus
Ink: Colorbox Frosty White; Ranger Distress inks: Shabby Shutters, Mustard Seed,Tattered Rose; Memento: Rich Cocoa
Embossing powder: Ranger: Clear
Glitter glue:  Ranger
Stamps: Prima
Punch: EK Success
Ribbon: American Crafts
Other: Straw, staples, old book pages

Step 1
Using white pigment ink and a clear acrylic stamp, stamp some flowers over a blank tag. Emboss it with a heat gun and clear embossing powder

Step 2
Mix Distress inks, add some water mist and color your embossed tag all over. Then clean the white embossed areas with a paper towel

 Step 3
Stamp a background stamp all over the colored tag with Memento brown ink and Prima stamp

Step 4
Staple some straw pieces from an old placemat or add paper strips, as shown

Step 5
Punch or die cut scalloped circles from old book pages, crimple them and combine using a brad into multilayer flowers. Open the petals and use 3-D glue and glitter to get a 3-D opened look to your flower

Step 6
Adhere the flower on the corner using some glue foam dot. Add Grungeboard swirl covered with glitter as shown. Tie the ribbon, add metal pins and enjoy your vintage tag

Congrats with flowers card

This card made TOP 3 on Craft challenge blog- thanks
New and fancy card made for Bo Bunny card with flowers challenge. As always I did it in the last second and sometimes I even forget to link.. LOL

This project made Top 3 on Beary Sweet blog- thanks
Sometimes it just happens to me: I find some new and small company with some gorgeous products and I just fall in love with those  products. It happened to me with Tando Creative - the company I design now for a year. Then it happened to me with Cheery Lynn Designs- and fortunately I design for them since December 2010.. Then I found this Pretty Little Studio company and they had this DT call not ended yet and I  cross my fingers to be on their DT too.. And now here is my last finding: Bottle Cap Inc- no DT call, no blog, nothing.. But I still love those caps and here is the first project I made using them- from the biggest size
to the medium and to the regular one- here is my new magnet- summery and bright and really lovely one
So here is the other than caps supply list- pretty long for so small piece of craft: Prima paper , flowers, blings and chipboard, SU and Paper Studio ribbon, Epyphany Crafts round shapes 14 and 25, Glitz letters and Cheery Lynn Designs Butterfly die

As much as I fly I never got any upgrade to the First class, but my charming daughter and her girl friend got  it for a several times. So I decided to scrap it with this " celebrate an upgrade"photos and to make some journaling about it.. Just read it- it's funny and so  correct.
Our challenge  on Best Creation was to use 6 letters titlle, 4 papers, 4 chipboards, some ribbon or lace and some buttons.
As you can see- all are here, all papers and chipboards are from Best Creations fantastic!! Travel Forever new 2011 collection, the small letters are from Safari boy line (I didn't get Travel ones.. )

Book shaped shadow box tutorial

Book shaped shadow box tutorial

Folded frame tutorial

Product list

Four cream cardstock 12*12'' pieces
One piece of 12*12'' glitter paper-I used GCD Studio's one here
Pink Paislee transparent card – Sweetness collection
Webster pages and Prima lace
Prima crystal swirls
K&Co vintage die cuts
Dress it up buttons
Glue Arts- Glue glider PRO, adhesive squares and ribbon adhesive

Here is a look of a finished project

And now for Step by Step instructions for this frame
Step 1

All you need now is 4 12*12 pieces of cream heavy weight solid cardstock, a metal ruler and a bone folder. If you have any scoring device- use it, but you really don't need it for the scoring of this project
Score all 4 cardstock using your metal standard ruler for your scoring size- it's just the best measurement ever for this project

Step 2

Also 3 scored paper were enough for this single project, if your use four of them, you will have products for another small shadow box with absolutely no leftovers
Cut 2 folded cardstock to 8.5'' size and 2 others to 5.5'' size
Step 3

Insert the short piece inside the long one as shown, use your Glue arts adhesive squares to adhere the first corner- do it from the front and the back side of your project. Now insert the second long piece into the free corner of your short one, adhere it and add the last one. Be sure to secure the corners with some more glue squares. Don't glue anything inside. Actually your shadow box is done
Now for the rest on the project

Step 4

Cut the back of your box from some fancy and glittery patterned cardstock, I used GCD Studios Melody Ross Post card  paper, cut it to your box size (8.5*5.5'') and before you do your final cut check it from the front to be sure you see the piece you wanted to be shown. Adhere your fancy paper piece on the back of your frame using Glue Arts Glider pro, it works the best here
Step 5

Using your ruler again ,cut 4 strips from your glittered cardstock for the front cover
Using your Glue glider adhere all 4 strips as show, don't glue the edges yet, as we need to trim them to triangle shape. Trim your edges as shown and now add more glue to finish the frame
Step 6

This is a time for you to be creative: make art and experiments, don't be afraid , it's your art, not mine
But if your want to do my kind of embellishments- here are the next few steps for this box
Cut some flower from your cardstock and glue them over your frame as shown. Cut some butterflies form another piece of cardstock and adhere them randomly over your frame. I used the same adhesive squares as on my first steps
Add Pink Paislee transparent card inside your box-glue it with adhesive squares inside the second fold- not too close to the back paper
Add some vintage die cuts- I used K&CO pieces inside the next fold and over the cover

Step 7

Adhere the ribbons using Glue Arts ribbon adhesive, pleat the lower lace as shown and glue the second
lace layer on the top. Make a fancy bow and glue is over the
cover with adhesive squares, add a vintage angel button with the same adhesive and finally add some crystal swirls all around the cover
As my finish touch I added the micro mini buttons over the butterflies and inked the outside " pages" of my book with Tea Dye distress ink
Enjoy your frame- you can also put some photo inside if you wish so

And here are  one more example made  by me with the same tutorial - Vintage frame
I hope you do love this tutorial- it's frugal and easy to do and never fail
