Rainbow magnet

This is my new stamped magnet, made over the very old  metal circle with one single huge stamp from TRC. Then I heat embossed it with black powder and inked with 3 primary Staze- On inks, added this crystal center from Handmade Halo and it's totally colorful and useful too.

This project was in print August 2013 issue of UK Craft Stamper magazine as a part of my big 4 page article.

Mixed media over wood tutorial: My Paris love

This small tutorial is an example of Mixed Media project made over wood with no paper at all. All you need to make this project is a wooden shape, some stamps, one single stencil, gesso, some chipboards and a lot of patience. Due the long drying time this project is easy, but not so short.
Here we go!
Step 1:
Take your wooden heart and make some grid pencil lines. It's really free hand lines, your choice.  And that's what it looks:

Step 2:
Take some leftover cardstock and make a kind of a mask that leaves one single grid spot uncovered.

Cover this wooden spot with a stencil and add white gesso over it. Let it dry for an hour or so.

Step 3:
Repeat step 1 and 2 for another part of the heart, using another part of the stencil
This is how it looks now

Step 4: Stamp the background stamps here and there over the uncovered parts, using black pigmented ink and clear embossing powder over it.

Step 5: Mist all piece with a mix of mists. I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Ponciana red flame and Pretty in pink  Add a bit of red embossing powder on one of the parts (I added over the upper right corner)

Step 6: Using Octagon small stamps add stamped background over your small chipboard pieces with die black ink. Cover them with Glossy Accents and glue over the finished piece. Add a silver heart button on the corner covered with some gold glitter glue. Cover a few small chipboard butterflies with the same gold glitter
glue and some with red glitter glue and glue them randomly over your art piece.

Sweet Stamps Birthday week challenge # 132

Hello my dear crafty friends!

This is our Happy Birthday week on Sweet Stamps challenge blog and I made a simple, but not so simple card  after all.
This is black and craft card with a bit of colors (red and green ), but then I used a full set of 5 stamps- Sweet Stamps Fancy  Flowers set 1; 5 ink spots from Sweet Stampsfrom Summer Brights set  and Chases choice set  and 4 dies (CLD  Fanciful Flourish, SS Pretty Petal SweetCuts  die and 2 CLD circles from Nested Small circles set.)
As my add ons I added a piece of lace and 9 buttons.  The Happy Birthday Sweet Stamps sentiment was the last touch and I really hope you like it.
And now it's your turn: play with our challenge and you can win!

PWP Mixed Media Monday

Hello my dear friends and welcome to our Mixed Media Monday
My project this time is an altered chipboard Bottle frame from Tando creative, but then it is full of our gorgeous PWP stamps, cut image and all possible mediums too.

It's an easy project to make even for not experienced MM crafter: all the work is done over the solid cream cardstock and  then embellished over the frame.
The cardstock is cut to the basic chipboard shape and then I added a few parts of one single stencil (TCW)  with gesso only. I made it pretty much around the frame as I wanted to leave space for the cut out (PWP) and glued image and for some stamping too.

I used  Build a Shrine set of  stamps- the upper one with an angel  and a part of the Cecltic knot here and there. Then I added a few splashed of Textures  stamps and then, as it happens with  frames, the Angel was suddenly all covered. So we need to be creative and I just added it over the frame and over the heat embossed with red powder heart. All inside of the frame was misted with a mix of Nantucket mists set
so was the cut out Angel head.

The girl from Summer clip art sheet was hand cut and glued  over the background.
Then I stamped a pair of wings from Wings set over vellum and heat embossed with gold embossing glitter. The cut out wings were glued over the  image back and now she became an angel too.

Anything else was just embellishing: golden leave, vintage flowers, some pearls, a bit of lace and the cap, heat embossed with the same glitter as my wings.

This is a lovely vintage piece that can be a great goft to a teen girl who adores fairies and angels, pearls, flowers and golds.

Sweet Stamps challenge #131: Anything goes with AF stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to your Sweet Stamps Anything goes with Artsy Fartsy stamps week!
Today I am going to show you my new and fancy Mixed Media tag made with a new ATC size stamp and another gorgeous Sweet Stamps Six Hearts Medallion  stamp as my background.

This tag was made without any patterned paper at all. I stamped the background with black permanent ink and then  misted it with a mix of 2-3 mists, added Pink Paislee fancy sticker part, some really vintage lace and then made the central panel.

The central panel was stamped with this gorgeous new AF  Parisienne Collage cling stamp and misted  with thew same mists colors and then embellished with a few pearls.

As my final touch I added resin Eifell tower piece, a huge paper flower and Pink Paislee misted butterfly.
Hope you like my project and would paly with our Anything goes challenge this week!

Masking technical challenge om Sweet Stamps blog: Fancy tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps Masking challenge.
This week I made a fancy and shabby huge tag and I also used Flourish With A bling lovely products as this my other DT and it was so natural to add those gorgeous blings to a shabby tag here.

I stamped 1900's  Lady stamp over the patterned paper and then stamped it again and cut to use as my mask.
Then I stamped Baroque border stamp over the mask and as you can see the lady is not covered with another stamp, but it's all stamped around and heat embossed with gold EP.
All other things were just " embellish me" kind of crafting.
A huge bow was the last touch on this tag.

And now it's your turn! Play with our monthly masking challenge and you can win!

Sweet Stamps challenge #130:Bling

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to Sweet Stamps Bling challenge.
This week we challenge you to use blings: all possible kind of glitter, stickles, rhinestones and everything that sparkle!
So here is my not so ordinary Wedding card.

The colors are vintage and not the usual wedding colors, but then it is full of sparkle. I added stickles glitter  ICICLE GLUE  over the stamped  Antique dancing couple image (first heat embossed with Fine Detail   Black sparkle embossing  powder). Then I added rhinestone FWAB swirls and a lot of small pearls over the patterned paper, die cut with CLD Scalloped Card maker nesting dies, all inked around with Nightfall ink spot. And then some flowers with more rhinestones were added to make it even more fancy..

Hope you like my card and now it's your turn to play with us! You can win gorgeous stamps if you enter our challenge! Be there to win!

Only you and a lot of photos too

My new project made for both of my embellishments DT: chipboards for Wycenanka and blings of FWAB and lot of them all on this quite simple and clean page with a lot of Mixed Media and a lot of white space. This page was not my comfort zone in style: I am one photo scrapper and to make 6! photos page was a challenge.

The paper range is Basic Grey Serenade- 3 papers only, some punching and a lot of gesso over CWS ATC size stencil. A bit of misting was done, but not too much as I love the  paper colors and didn't want  to change them at all.
The Polaroid chipboards were inked a bit with brown ink to make it a bit "VINTAGE" ; the ABC letters are so delicate that the only way to keep them on the table was to paint them with a black marker and to use Glossy accents to glue them to the page.

Same with the circled arrows. The bird was slightly  inked and then I added the wooden clock (Paper Studio) to mark the time that passes .

I added a black pearl swirl, a small leave branch and a lot of green pearls over this page, using FWAB products. And then I decided  to stop. Lately I try to make my pages flatter and  more simple, so this was  the most I did over this page. No stamping, no flowers, nothing more. And I like it this so called simple way. Hope you like it too.
I enter it to multi photo challenge for Studio blog

And now for my project:
This is my very first team project made for this new to me design team and lucky me got this VINTAGE theme, the one that is so close to my heart.
So here we go- say  Hi to my vintage fancy tag with a lot of stamping, misting and embellishing.

I used  two pre made tags from Ranger- the large and the medium sized ones. The background tag was stamped with Backgrounds  stamp and clear embossing ink and heat  embossed with white embossing powder. I know, it's hardly seen after all, but still it made this textured background on the left tag side.
Then I misted it with Lindy's Stamp Gang mists  and added a huge and a really vintage piece of lace on the right side of  the large tag.
Now for the smaller tag.
I stamped a Texture background with clear ink and Copper heat embossing on the right corner. Punchinella  dots were stamped on the left. Added a gate from the Build a  Shrine set on the top - same technique . Some stamped in white strips were added randomly using the same set. Then I just randomly added some black ink splashes using Texture backgrounds set  set and some more black dots using the same  set.

The main image was a cut out from Angel Clip art sheet . Actually the tag was made, but not yet embellished.
So I added 2 vintage fabric lace pieces on the top of both tag, with a brass charm key on the smaller tag. A fabric flower was added on the lower left corner and bling Memories title over the side of my tag. One more flower and a few pieces of black  swirls  and this was done.

I hope you like my vintage project and you can make the very same backgrounds using our PWP delightful background stamps and any vintage cut out image to make you own vintage tags.
